Automatic Winding Machine For Cylindrical Cell Production
1. Equipment Description:
This device is employed in the manufacturing of cylindrical lithium-ion battery cells and stands as a critical piece of equipment in battery production. Its operational process is outlined below: The cathode sheets, anode sheets, and separator—preprocessed by the slitting machine—are actively unwound. They then go through a series of steps including tension control, dust removal, web alignment, iron removal, static elimination for the separator, and quality inspection. Subsequently, they are fed into the winding section via guide rollers and electrode feeding mechanisms. Once winding is done, the cell is picked up by a robotic arm, undergoes short-circuit testing, is counted by a photoelectric counter, and conveyed to the collection platform via a conveyor belt. If any defective cells are detected during processing, they are rejected and directed to the defective product collection box.
