Aluminum Battery Tabs and Nickel Battery Tabs for Lithium ion Battery Products
Introduction
1. Tab is a kind of raw material for lithium ion polymer battery products.
2. Batteries are divided into positive and negative electrodes. The tab is a metal conductor that leads the positive and negative electrodes out of the cell.
3. Generally speaking, the tabs of the positive and negative electrodes are the contact points during charging and discharging. This contact point is not the copper sheet we see on the outside of the battery, but a connection inside the battery.
4. There are three kinds of materials for the tab. Aluminum (Al) material is used for the positive electrode, nickel (Ni) material for the negative electrode and copper-nickel (Ni-Cu) material for the negative electrode. They are all composed of film and metal tape.
